Called to servant leadership.
First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta is a community of faith whose collective calling and will are continually shaped by the servant-leader example of Jesus Christ. Our Long Range Strategic Plan calls us to “equip members and friends to be servant leaders in the church and in all spheres of their lives.”
That calling does not end at the church doors. In our homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities, we seek to follow Christ by serving generously and exercising our gifts faithfullyfor the good of others.

The links below outline many of the ways First Presbyterian's members and friends work to heed its calling to be servant leaders.

Church members cheered on runners in the 2026 Peachtree Road Race, which passed in front of the church.

Sundays at First Presbyterian
Sundays are better together. Find a worship service that feels like home whether you prefer an intimate service, one that's casual (really, do come as you are and bring your coffee – with a lid), or a more traditional mode for worship.

Come for Sunday School, or simply show up and see where the morning takes you. You’ll find beautiful music, thoughtful preaching, plenty of children underfoot, and people who are genuinely glad you’re here.
Don't rush off afterward: coffee and cookies are waiting in Correll Commons, along with conversation, introductions, and the inevitable catching up that can make Sunday morning last just a little longer.
