Global Mission
A global community in which all know God's love and express that love to one another
Our Global Mission
We partner with churches in Guatemala, Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica, and Kenya. We also partner with four organizations in Atlanta that minister to resettled refugees, international students, international medical professionals, and children from throughout the world needing surgeries. In partnership, we walk with and stand for one another.
God has a mission, and we are all called to participate. At FPC, we believe that wherever we go, God is already there—whether we are visiting Christian partners around the world, welcoming them to Atlanta, or walking alongside refugees, international students, children needing surgery, and international medical professionals in our own community.

We practice global mission through long-term, mutual relationships with Christian partners around the world. Some of these partnerships have lasted decades. Together, we listen, discern, worship, pray, and support ministries that strengthen local communities.

When we travel, we witness what God is doing through our partners and bring those stories home. Between visits, we stay connected through online gatherings, Bible studies, email, and WhatsApp, and provide financial support in accordance with our partnership covenants.

Whether traveling, welcoming guests, or connecting across the miles, we give thanks for the relationships God has built and for the opportunity to participate together in God’s mission.
Where We Serve Together
Hear from one of our partners
First Presbyterian’s relationship with Mt. Kenya Academy in Nyeri, Kenya reflects our commitment to building connections with Christian communities around the world. Through this longstanding partnership, members of First Presbyterian have supported the school and its students, strengthening bonds of friendship, faith, and learning across continents.
Mission Market
Mission Market is an alternative giving opportunity through FPC’s Global Mission ministry and Community Ministries. We maintain long-term global partnerships with church congregations and their ministries throughout the world, as well as a long-standing ministry program to disadvantaged people in Atlanta. Monies received in Mission Market go directly to these ministries.
